Zethus the Bitter

Zethus the Bitter

€28.00Price

Amaro created for true lovers and connoisseurs of bitters, it is part of the category of bitters and fernets. The recipe dates back to around 1850. Intense and original flavour. Strong and well-balanced bitterness marries milk chocolate perfectly. The aroma is strong and intense and delicate aromas expand from the glass which envelop us before bringing it to the mouth. It is sugar-free but with a sweet note given to it by vanilla. The history of this liqueur is singular. One day a priest arrived in the shoemaker's shop of Domenico Leardini (founder) who had his shoes fixed, but when it was time to pay, not having all the money, he offered this recipe as part of the payment. In fact, Zethus, in the dialect of the time, meant a person who always manages to solve small problems. Today this recipe lives again and is much appreciated.
