Excellent digestive after meals, bitter but pleasant. The gentian root, harvested fresh between 1,000 and 2,000 metres, must be dried in the oven at 60°. We prefer very old plants as the growth of this botanical is slow and it normally flowers after about 8-10 years for the first time. The gentian is a protected species and its free collection is prohibited. 

We recommend drinking this liqueur with ice, keeping the bottle at room temperature, or in the freezer. The flavor reveals pungent and spicy notes of cloves and the citrus notes of fresh lemon and orange peel.
